THe 9th edition of the Tamil Nadu International Balloon Festival (TNIBF) is set to take place from 12th to 16th January 2024 at Pollachi, Coimbatore Dist., Tamil Nadu. Organized with the support of the Department of Tourism Tamil Nadu, this four-day festival will feature Hot Air Balloons from various countries, showcasing diverse shapes and colors.

The carnival welcomes attendees starting at 2 pm, with the music concert commencing at 6:30 pm.
Experience the breathtaking spectacle of all balloons taking off from 6:00 am onwards. Join the exhilarating Balloon Run Marathon at 6:30 am, and don't miss the chance for an awe-inspiring Helicopter Ride available from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. It's a day filled with thrilling moments in the sky!

Tethered Balloon Ride
A tethered hot air balloon ride is a unique adventure where the balloon is securely anchored to the ground by ropes or tethers, ensuring it remains at a controlled height. This setup allows passengers to board the balloon, which ascends to a designated height, typically a few feet, providing a brief yet captivating experience based on specific safety regulations.
Tethered Balloon Rides: The balloon is firmly tethered to the ground, offering a short up-and-down trip, hovering approximately 60-80 feet above the ground for a few minutes. This provides an ideal opportunity for a quick and exciting photo session!
