Kolkata boasts not only a rich history and heritage but also hosts the largest Eco Tourism Park in the country. Situated in the New Town area of Rajarhat, this urban park spans approximately 190 hectares of land and is surrounded by a 42-hectare water body, giving it the appearance of an island.

Locals frequently visit this park, known as Prakriti Tirtha, to enjoy their weekends. Divided into three main sections—Ecological zone, Theme gardens, and Open spaces for recreation—the park offers a variety of activities suitable for visitors of all ages. These activities include zorbing, kayaking, cycling, rowing, paddle boating, and speed boat rides.
