Parra Coconut Road is a beautiful road located in the village of Parra, North Goa. It is famous for its tall coconut trees on both sides and green fields all around. This road have been featured in various bollywood films but it becomes famous after it was shown in the Bollywood movie Dear Zindagi, where Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan are seen cycling along it.

How to Reach Parra Coconut Road
Parra village is close to popular places like Mapusa and Baga Beach. It is just 5 km from Mapusa City and 6 Km from Baga Beach. You can reach there by rented bike or scooty. Since it is very narrow road public buses can't go there. If you are considering public bus as an option then you can board to Parra Tinto Junction and from there it is just 1.4 km away.
Best Time to Visit to Parra Road
Best time to visit this road is early in the morning as there will be no crowd. After 9 AM to might see crowd there.
Between August and November, the area looks the most green and fresh.
Local Culture
Parra is not just pretty, it’s also a farming village. It’s known for growing watermelons and onions.
Nearby, you can also visit the old St. Anne’s Church, which has been around since the 1600s.
