About Bengal Mango Mela & Handloom-Handicrafts Expo 2026
The 12th Bengal Mango Mela was formally inaugurated on June 20, 2026, coinciding with Paschim Banga Divas, commemorating the historic 1947 Bengal Legislative Assembly resolution that supported the formation of West Bengal within the Indian Union.
This year’s theme, “Brand Bengal at the National Capital: Tradition, Taste, Tourism, Textiles & Togetherness,” reflects the state’s rich cultural heritage while promoting Bengal’s tourism, agriculture, handloom, handicrafts, and local industries to visitors in Delhi-NCR.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including:
