What to Expect at Korea Culture Day 2026
The festival is planned as a celebration of both modern and traditional Korean culture. Visitors can expect a mix of entertainment, food, beauty and cultural experiences.
K-Pop & Korean Performances
K-Pop will be one of the major attractions at the festival. Visitors can experience Korean music and performances alongside traditional cultural presentations.
The wider Telangana–Korea festival initiative is also intended to showcase performing arts, music and dance from both Korea and Telangana.
Korean Food Experiences
Food lovers will get an opportunity to explore Korean cuisine and discover some of the flavours associated with Korean food culture.
The event is expected to bring Korean culinary experiences together with elements of Telangana’s own food and cultural traditions.
K-Beauty
Korean beauty and skincare have become an important part of the global Korean cultural wave. Korea Culture Day will include K-Beauty experiences, giving visitors an opportunity to explore this aspect of contemporary Korean culture.
Traditional Korean Culture
Along with contemporary Korean pop culture, the festival will highlight Korea’s traditional heritage through cultural performances and exhibitions.
This combination is intended to give visitors a broader look at Korea beyond K-Pop and K-Dramas.
Cultural Exhibitions
Visitors can also expect exhibitions and displays introducing different aspects of Korean culture and heritage.
The festival will bring Korean and Telangana cultural elements together, creating opportunities for audiences to learn about both cultures.
Korea Day in India
The idea of organising a Korea Day in India is part of this broader cultural exchange initiative. The first India Day was celebrated in Seoul on May 16, 2026, according to the information provided by KCCI.
Korea Culture Day in Hyderabad will add a regional dimension to these cultural exchanges by connecting Korean cultural institutions with audiences in Telangana.
Hyderabad
Korea Culture Day 2026 is set to give Hyderabad audiences a chance to experience Korean culture through K-Pop, Korean cuisine, K-Beauty, traditional performances and cultural exhibitions.
With Korean popular culture already attracting audiences across India, the Hyderabad event will combine contemporary Korean entertainment with traditional cultural experiences while also bringing elements of Telangana culture into the conversation.
