Small waterfalls cascaded down the hills, adding to the allure of this hidden gem. Taking respite at the dam base, we reveled in the fresh breeze, finding solace on a quiet rock.

On our return to Bangalore, the allure of Perandapalli Falls near Hosur beckoned. This waterfall, part of the Thenpennai River originating from Nandi Hills, promised a unique sight. After reaching the base, a brief walk of around 200 meters unveiled the falls in all its splendor.

It's essential to note that the Thenpennai River often carries industrial waste, giving it a brownish hue. We exercised caution and refrained from venturing into the water, choosing to admire the falls from a safe distance. As responsible travelers, we recommend avoiding direct contact with the river due to its compromised cleanliness.
