Note:
The hot air balloon ride was tethered, meaning it was tied to the ground with a rope. At first, they thought it might be tied to a jeep, allowing for some movement, but it turned out to be tethered on 3-4 sides to the ground. This meant there was no moving around, except for a bit of swaying and up-and-down motion.
In the particular balloon they were in, the burners were positioned right over their heads, causing it to become uncomfortably hot to stand, especially for taller people. A suggestion was made to wear a cap or even a half-face helmet, particularly for those who are very tall. They noted that the balloon in Pune was larger, with a bigger basket and more gap between the burner and their heads. Wearing a hat or half-face helmet would have been beneficial with this advice.
